Where we work in the Pueblo Metro
We only list places we actually dispatch to. Each one has its own housing stock and its own common failures, and the pages below say what those are rather than repeating the same text with the name swapped.
Pueblo
The core of the county and the widest mix of housing we work on, from pre-war homes near the Union Avenue district with narrow original openings to po
Pueblo West
A large, spread-out community west of the city with mostly post-1980 construction on generous lots. Detached shops and oversized doors are far more co
Colorado City
South of Pueblo along I-25 at higher elevation, which means more wind exposure and harder UV on south- and west-facing doors.
Rye
Small foothills community with a lot of detached garages and outbuildings, and enough elevation that winter conditions differ from the valley floor.
Avondale
East of the city in the Arkansas Valley. More rural properties, more agricultural outbuildings, and door sizes that are frequently non-standard.
Boone
Small farming community east of Pueblo. Mostly older housing stock and shop doors rather than modern attached garages.
Beulah
Mountain community south-west of the city. Harder winters than the valley and more detached garages, often unheated.
Blende
Unincorporated area just east of Pueblo with a mix of older homes and newer infill; door sizing here is less standardised than in the newer subdivisio
Vineland
Rural area east of the city in the Arkansas Valley. Agricultural outbuildings and oversized doors are a large share of the work, and sizing is rarely
Salt Creek
Small community south of Pueblo. Older stock, mostly detached garages, and light framing that often needs attention before new track goes on.
Penrose
Fremont County community north-west of Pueblo. Rural properties with shop and outbuilding doors alongside residential.
Florence
Historic town north-west of the city with housing largely predating 1950. Detached alley-access garages and non-standard openings are the norm.
Canon City
Larger Fremont County town west of Pueblo. A broad range of eras from Victorian-era homes with no original garage through to modern attached two-car b
Fowler
Small farming community east along the Arkansas Valley. Predominantly agricultural door work and older residential stock.
Rocky Ford
Otero County town east of Pueblo. Older housing, detached garages, and a lot of shop doors on working properties.
La Junta
Further east in Otero County. Historic stock with narrow original openings, plus rail and agricultural buildings with oversized doors.
Walsenburg
Huerfano County, south along I-25. Older housing at higher elevation than Pueblo, so UV exposure is harder still and seals fail faster.
Boone and East Valley
The farming communities strung east along the Arkansas. Almost entirely outbuilding and shop door work rather than attached residential garages.
